The TV series "Batman" looks to be finally headed to home video.

The news fans of the Adam West “Batman” TV series have been waiting for looks to be finally here: The series will be released on DVD by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment in 2014, Donna Loren, who guest starred on the series, announced on Facebook. Jan. 20. “BATMAN FANS! Home DVD Set of Sixties Batman TV Show Finally To Be Released!,” she wrote.

The news actually first leaked out several days ago in the the Newark Star-Ledger, which reported Conan O'Brien announced it in a Twitter post. “Very excited @WBHomeEnt is releasing the Batman '66 Complete TV Series in 2014! The seat smells like Adam West: http://bit.ly/1d7IoFk

According to the Star-Ledger, a long disagreement between Warner Brothers and Twentieth Century Fox held up the release. Loren, in an interview for our Vintage Rock 'n' Roll Examiner column, said something was in the works in the wake of a recent estate settlement. “Just through the grapevine, knowing the case was settled. I would assume that once they get all the logistics straight, they're going to do something,” she said.

There's no word on when the DVDs will be released and whether Blu-ray will be included.
