Entertainment News reports that South Park fans will be disappointed. Comedy Central won’t be showing South Park’s latest episode tonight. For many years, Trey Parker and Matt Stone have always delivered their episodes to Comedy Central on time. Unfortunately, they missed their first deadline this year.
Comedy Central says South Park Studios lost power for three hours on Tuesday and couldn’t get their computers going. One can only imagine how many F-Bombs are getting dropped by Eric Cartman by now.
South Park is unique from other animated cartoons. While others make episodes months in advance, Parker and Stone make their episodes six days before they air. This way their topics are always fresh.
Comedy Central was supposed to debut “Goth Kids 3: Dawn of the Posers” tonight.
Instead, Comedy Central will show the classic “Scott Tenorman Must Die” episode. Trey Parker stated, “It sucks to miss an air date but after all these years of tempting fate by delivering the show last minute, I guess it was bound to happen.”
