Gwen Stefani beat the heat last weekend in a shredded tee - an Obesity and Speed cobweb-back top that Miley Cyrus rocked last January.
Stefani had her back exposed with a blue bra and matching baggy pants. Cyrus, on the other hand, wore her shreds with a cropped blue cami and paint-splattered slim jeans.
Both seemed to have been penalized by the fashion police and tagged by some bloggers as fashion don'ts.
You be the judge. But that is just one of the many ways Hollywood celebrities do to get people's attention.
Speaking of attention-grabbing, here are some Hollywood-goers that dressed almost alike last weekend. It probably would have been more interesting if two had pulled a Stefani-Cyrus stunt.
Fashion on the streets of Hollywood
(Right) Both women look fresh with their striped navy tank tops. Those neat hair buns also add some breezy feel.
(Bottom-left) The two girl pals make a pair of color contrasts - a white camisole matched with a dark ultra-short shorts and vice versa. Notice they have the very same Louis Vuitton shoulder bags.
(Below) These two ladies were spotted wearing almost identical dresses with their waists both cinched with black belts. With hair down, they strutted Hollywood Blvd. with those summer flip-flops.

Thanks for sharing some of Hollywood's new trends as well as do's and don'ts.
I think those shreds are horrible...I would not spend a cent purchasing something that thin or ratty. This is a definite don't in my book.

Gwen can do anything she wants. I love her. I think the fashion police are a bunch of jealous girls, or as Arnold would say "Girly men," Lol! When a star is in the limelight, the news jumps all over them.
