Hollywood fans send John Lennon love in 100-foot-long note to Yoko Ono

A 100-foot long birthday scroll with loving messages and peace drawings from Hollywood fans to honor John Lennon's birthday was sent to Yoko Ono in New York City Monday via U.S. special delivery mail, according to longtime Lennon and Beatles fan Jerry Rubin .

Rubin says the scroll was rolled out during the special John Lennon 70th birthday public celebration that took place last Saturday at Lennon's Hollywood Walk of Fame star next to the Capitol Records Tower at Hollywood and Vine.

"Fans of all ages signed and put their heartfelt messages on the scroll," Rubin said. "I sent the special scroll very special delivery to Yoko Ono with much love and hopes for world peace."
