The glitz and glamour of Hollywood could not have been better represented on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 than at the 17th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala which was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in posh Hollywood, California.
This star-studded event was attended by some of Hollywood's elite who came together to celebrate the accomplishments of fellow artists gifted with outstanding talent. Excellence in filmmaking and the global creative community were honored on this special evening. Moët & Chandon, a fine champagne with a history of success and glamor since 1743, officially kicked off the awards season with their mini bottles which were a perfect size to toast the winners. Seen socializing throughout the night were Harrison Ford, Matthew McConaughey, Sandra Bullock, Jake Gyllenhaal, Julia Roberts, Jared Leto, Lupita Nyong’o, B. Jordan, Sophie Nelisse, David Oyelowo, Steve McQueen, Lee Daniels, Michael DeLuca, Julie Delpy, Ethan Hawke, Richard Linklater, John Knoll, Dan Scanlon, Meryl Streep, Ewan McGregor, Abigail Breslin, Chris Cooper, Benedict Cumberbatch, Juliette Lewis, Margo Martindale, Dermot Mulroney, Julianne Nicholson, Sam Shepard, Misty and the musical group Coldplay.
The evening was hosted by Entertainment Tonight’s Nancy O’Dell and winners came to enjoy the magnificence of this first awards event of the season in chic style. Formal gowns in rich brilliant and bright colors were joined by neutral colors of black and white as they dominated the Red Carpet. Those individuals that were recognized for their achievements were:
