Hollywood and comic book guests slated for Wizard World Sacramento Comic Con

The halls of the Sacramento Convention Center will be filled with sci-fi, comic, and pop culture fans during when the first ever Wizard World Sacramento Comic Con takes place during the March 7-9 weekend. In addition to pursuing various vendors for memorabilia, listening to panelists talk about topics covering various aspects of their beloved entertainment medium, and enjoying time with fellow like-minded fans of pop culture, Wizard World Sacramento Comic Con has procured a long list of celebrities and comic book talent as guests for attendees to meet and interact with during their fun-filled sci-fi and comic filled weekend.

Headlining special Hollywood guests of Wizard World Sacramento Comic Con include:

  • Chris Hemsworth, whose roles include the titular Norse god of the “Thor” Marvel film franchise and “The Avengers
  • Norman Reedus of “Boondock Saints” and “The Walking Dead” fame
  • WWE superstar Sheamus
  • Jason David Frank, who played the Green as well as the White Ranger from the classic “Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers”
  • James Marsters from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”
  • Ralph Macchio of “The Karate Kid” trilogy.
  • And many more.

This list of Hollywood guests spans through many years and genres including sci-fi, which is sure to bring in all sorts of attendees. Autograph and photo opportunities will be plentiful.

Comic book artists & creators scheduled to appear at Wizard World Sacramento Comic Con include comic book artist & Eisner Award Hall of Famer Neal Adams whose works include “Batman” and “Superman;” animator Phil Ortiz; and Renee Witterstaetter, comic book editor of “She Hulk” and colorist for “Avengers.”

Attendees patient enough to bear the expected lines among enthusiastic fans will have the chance to meet iconic Wizard World Sacramento Comic Con special guests like the great William Shatner, cult film icon Bruce Campbell, and comic book legend Stan Lee. Or attendees can opt to buy VIP tickets to spend some quality time with the guests of your choosing.
