The Ross Sisters - Angie, Elmira, and Maggie - were a unique singing harmony/contortionist act who became famous in the 1944 movie Broadway Rhythm.
Performing the most famous song from the movie, "Solid Potato Salad", the sisters bent their bodies into the most oddly disturbing positions imagineable. The sisters' astounding flexibility still amazes today.

Apparently their act weirded out American audiences. The Ross Sisters never again appeared on the silver screen after Broadway Rhythm. According to the world's most reliable information source, Wikipedia, they went to London to perform a stage revue from 1946-48, and recorded a song called "Five Minutes More", which was later covered by Frank Sinatra.
