Holly Madison: 'I can't be another LA reality show girl'

The new trio of Girls Next Door are bringing in record-high ratings, but Hef's former leading lady Holly Madison says they're just rehashing her old ideas.

"I can't be another LA reality show girl," Holly said in a recent interview with PopTarts. "There are too many people doing the same thing in that city.”

Like Hef's new girlfriends, for instance, says the 29-year-old former Playboy model and Girls Next Door star.

"“The girls need to focus on what makes them unique and not doing the same things Bridget, Kendra and I have already done on the show," Holly told Tarts about the new girls featured on the show.

Adding, "Even camping in the backyard was an idea I had for an episode that we never got around to shooting. And guess what they just showed? The girls camping in the backyard."

While Holly has long since left the Mansion's storyline, the doll is now featured in her own Las Vegas show, called "Peep Show", in which the blondie features her bosoms on the big stage.

"The ‘toplessness’ is worked into the show very tastefully and I was very controlling about when and how long I would be topless,” Madison told Tarts. “Not because I am shy about nudity at all, but because I feel there is an effective way to do a burlesque show," she added. 

Holly, who replaced Kelly Monaco in the Las Vegas number, told People magazine the show has given her "a lot more confidence". She revealed, "It will definitely help me stick to a really strict workout routine."

Madison stays in shape with her high-heeled dancing show but also uses her diet as a big helper in keeping her stage ready. 

“I just try to keep it simple and not really diet. I’m not all about the starvation diets that some girls go on to lose weight quickly," Holly told HealthyHollywood.com earlier this year. "When we first started filming The Girls Next Door, I was so serious about getting in shape fast! I worked out every single day and watched everything I put in my mouth and it was just miserable!”

Now, Holly says she stays "aware" of what she eats but tries not to obsess. When she's not dancing Burlesque, Holly enjoys hiking and yoga - Anything that disguises the workout feel.

In the interview, she told HH she eats "a lot of lean protein like chicken and fish" and strives to "add a lot of vegetables and fruits." With a bit of portion-control, Holly confesses she's down with having  "the occasional cupcake or piece of chocolate" for a treat.

As for those fans that wish to indulge in more Holly Madison, it's okay to hold your breath. The blonde babe is slated to appear in her own E! Reality TV show called "Miss Madison". She told GossipGirl, "It's about everything I am doing here in Vegas. I think a lot of people are going to be surprised.”
