Holly Madison chose an interesting baby name for her newborn daughter. On March 8, Us Weekly reported that Holly named her baby "Rainbow Aurora." After days without revealing the baby's name (some say Holly didn't decide on one until very recently), the newest Playboy playmate baby has a colorful moniker to say the least.
"I wanted to give my daughter a unique name. Growing up, there was a girl in my school named Rainbow and I was so envious of that name. I thought it was so pretty and unique!" Holly told E! News (via Us Weekly).
Holly Madison's chosen baby name wasn't given too much other detail. As far as the baby's middle name, Holly dressed up as Princess Aurora last Halloween according to Us Weekly. Perhaps this inspired her to choose the Disney princess name as her daughter's middle name. The baby was given her dad's last name, "Rotella."
Holly and beau, Pasquale Rotella, were very excited to have a baby together and they seem simply over the moon now that Rainbow has arrived.
"Hi everyone! I just wanted to say thank you for all the wonderful messages you guys have been posting! I appreciate them all! I’ve been spending the last day or so learning how to be a mom— it’s the best project in the world! I never thought I would be so happy-especially on so little sleep!" Holly wrote on her Celebuzz blog earlier today.
