Holland's Tulip Time Festival promises family fun

Start making plans now to attend the Holland Tulip Time Festival in Holland, Michigan being held from May 1 – May 8, 2010. This is the festival voted “America’s Best Small Town Festival” by Reader’s Digest as well as one of the “Top 100 Events and Festivals in North America” by the American Bus Association. The annual event draws visitors from around the state and across the country to view the blossoms and many varied activities. What was once a relatively small affair celebrating tulips and wooden shoes has morphed into a blow-out featuring, among other things, nationally known entertainment, arts exhibits, Dutch dancing and a Blue Cross/Blue Shield run. (You can run 8K, 5K or sign your child up for the 1K kids’ fun run.)

More information will follow soon but consider making reservations if you plan an overnighter (or longer) anywhere in the area..
