Things are popping up peachy at Hollabaugh Bros. Fruit Farm and Market this weekend as the Annual Peach Festival is in full swing. This two-day event, going on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 9 and 10, will run from noon to 5 p.m. on both days, bringing a peachy-keen good time to all those in attendance.

Attendees to the Peach Festival will enjoy two fun-filled festive days of live music, wagon rides, concessions and peaches galore! Wagon rides will take you out and about the orchard premises, offering breath-taking views of the beautiful rural scenes of Biglerville farmland. Enjoy the serenity and wonder of the blooming peach trees, budding apple trees and juicy, crisp splendor of the overall landscape.

Enjoy the juiciness even more through a series of samplings and tastings of countless peachy varieties and creative concoctions. Many different peaches will be in abundance to sample and select (if you decide you like some in particular and wish to fill an entire bag to take home with you). You may also try other peach-infused products and delicacies including peach jams, salsas, syrups, cakes, baked goods, drinks and of course the famous peach sundae—a tradition at Hollabaughs and a favorite amongst attendees.

Numerous other peach products will be available to sample and buy as well, and for those who aren’t too keen on peaches, there will be other concessions on site to select from throughout the festival via lunch stand. And as always, folks are welcome to browse around and explore the premises and market, watch the live bees at work creating honey, browse the other farm-fresh favorites in the store, and enjoy live music from Klinger McFry and The Willys.

Festival admission is free, though a $1 parking rate supports the Adams County Rescue Mission and Upper Adams Band Boosters. Additionally, a portion of the event’s proceeds will go towards the Adams County Rescue Mission which will also be grateful to attendees who generously bring along much-needed toiletries (soap, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, deodorant, paper plates, etc.) to donate.
