Holiday Gift Making at Jamaroo

Come and create some wonderful gifts! You’ll be decorating tissue box covers and many other original one of a kind gifts for you to bring home and give to the ones you love.

DIY Holidays Kids: Homemade Gifts at 18 Reasons
Saturday December 10, 2011. 1pm – 2:30pm
Ages: All ages
Check off some of those holiday gifts off your list and let the kids loose with some hands-on fun. During this 90 minute workshop kids will create handmade holiday gifts perfect for teachers, friends, grandparents, and more. Following instructions by Stacie Dong from A Little Yumminess, each participant will make a custom herbal tea blend, a spice mix, and a handmade book. After a tricked out wrapping station (think: potato stamps), everyone will leave with three wrapped and ready gifts as well as take-home instructions for all the projects. Parents are welcome to stay and join in the fun.

Winter Workshop!!! At Pixie Hall Studios

During these 1-day workshops, kids can interpret a masterpiece painting by using Chris Babcock's original grid system and receiving constant step by step visual demonstration by Chris. Wrapped, ribboned and tagged with a homemade card, these paintings will make unique gifts for your child's most loved family, teachers and caregivers. Each young artist will use professional quality acrylics on 14 by 22 inch archival museum quality paper.
