The last Yappy hour of 2011 hosted by Pet-tique, will be Thursday, November 17 at their boutique in Lakewood. It’s a great chance to have a pre-holiday celebration with other pets and their people, and shop for those special items for the pets and pet people on your holiday list. The event will benefit the Berea Animal Rescue Fund.
Berea ARF has been serving the community as a “No time limit shelter” for dogs and cats. With the help of donations, they cared for 950 cats, dogs, kittens and puppies during the past year.
Yappy Hour will be from 5 pm-8 pm. Food is being donated by Constantino’s Market Downtown. Constantino’s is a neighborhood grocery that stocks holistic food choices and pre-prepared gourmet foods.
Drinks will be provided by YOLO (You Only Live Once) Wine Bar, a café local to the Battery Park neighborhood. YOLO’s full service restaurant has fun and relaxing atmosphere. They host live music nights throughout the month and wine tasting parties on the last Wednesday of each month.
Pet treats will be provided by Pet-Tique.
For this final Yappy Hour of the year, Pet-Tique suggests a donation at the door of $5 per person. There will also be raffle tickets sold at $1 per ticket or 6 for $5. The raffle prizes are 2 baskets provided by Constantino’s Market and 2 baskets provided by Pet-Tique, and more.
