The Weekly Alibi is hosting a Holiday Wine Tasting Event on Thursday, December 10, 5:30 PM at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. A portion of the procees will benefit Watermelon Mountain Ranch, a non-profit organization and New Mexico's largest "no-kill" animal shelter.
The food at the event will be from such yummy restaurants as: Artichoke Cafe and Wine Bar, La Fonda Del Bosque, Marcello's Chop House, Nob Hill Bar & Grill, etc.
More importantly, the wine selections will include choices from 55 high-end wines like Blackstone, Casa Rondena, Gruet, Matheson (love their merlot!), Robert Mondavi, etc.
Micro-brewed beers will include 30 of the country's best including: Marble (A locally awesome brew pub), New Belgium, Ska, etc.
Sounds awesome to me. Not only can you get your wine tasting in, but if your significant other prefers beer, you can both be happy! So buy your tickets online and bundle up on Thursday night!
