Holiday update for the Charlotte area

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department for Animal Care and Control will be closed January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. With the exception of the upcoming holiday, they will be hosting a puppy adoption party which will continue until the Panther's playoff game this Sunday. All puppies five months and older will be just $50. They will also be hosting a special on bunnies that are eligible for adoption; through January 12th all rabbits will be adoptable for a minimal fee of $25. All adoption costs are to cover veterinary costs and spay/neuter.
