Holiday Travel deals Part I: Cheap flights to Europe for Fall, Thanksgiving as low as $230 each way

This week begins the travel deals and cheap flights for Fall and holiday travel.  While many people are just finishing up summer vacations, this week is the time to start planning your holiday travel plans.  Thanksgiving and Christmas flights will be full this year and the airlines know it.  So don't expect many last minute deals for the holidays this year.  Start shopping online now.

Over the last few weeks, I have focused on holiday travel deals and travel tips.  As noted, Fall and holiday airfares will be up this year.  So when is the time to shop for Thanksgiving and Christmas travel deals?  The news and airfare sales for the holidays will come fast this week starting with a great sale to Europe on American Airlines.

Europe in the Fall and Spring and Thanksgiving too

Fall is a great time of year to visit Europe.  And American Airlines knows this.  While the window for these airfare sales is short, you can get some great deals to Europe for as low as $230 round trip.

Fly from New York to Brussels for Thanksgiving (November 23 - 30) for $622 (taxes included).  If that's not a good enough deal, spend Halloween in London as you fly from Los Angeles to London for $805 (taxes included).  Fly from Sacramento to London ($386 each way) or Frankfurt ($368) or San Francisco to Frankfurt ($350 each way) or Brussels ($365 each way).  Fly to Europe from 41 cities in the US from $230 to $553 each way and get some really cheap flights for your Fall, Thanksgiving, and Winter travel plans.

Hurry because these deals must be booked by September 15.  Travel is valid from October 24 through March 31 (travel must be completed by April 17).  Fares are valid for Sunday through Thursday while UK destinations are valid Monday through Wednesday.  Blackout dates of December 15 through January 8 apply.
