While I’m sure most Holiday travelers have booked their flights months ago; there are bound to be a few procrastinators still perusing online sites waiting for a better deal to pop up. Normally, there would be no way to snag a great deal a week before Christmas, but according to MarketWatch, airline carriers are dropping ticket prices as much as 79%. For example, an American Airlines flight between Dallas and New York originally sold for as much as $1,858 roundtrip, but one day later the price was cut to $388 roundtrip.
