The 2013 The Holiday Train Show at The New York Botanical Garden is tentatively scheduled to open November 16, 2013 and will continue to run through January 12, 2014. The Holiday Train Show is located within the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory at the New York Botanical Garden, and, model trains puff along a half-mile of track, around the 140 landmark buildings of New York City.
Returning for the 2013-2014 Train show include favorites such as Yankee Stadium and St. Patrick's Cathedral. And, for a special treat, on November 23, 2013, Billy Collins (former U.S. Poet Laureate) will be reading special selections of his work and train themed poems.

Take the Metro-North Harlem local line to Botanical Garden Station. Walk across Kazimiroff Boulevard to the Garden's Mosholu Gate entrance. Just 20 minutes from Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan! Also convenient from other locations.
Take the B, D, or 4 train to Bedford Park Blvd Station.
From the subway station exit:
* Take the Bx 26 bus east to the Garden's Mosholu Gate entrance.
* OR walk eight blocks down the hill on Bedford Park Blvd to the end (approximately 20 minutes). Turn left onto Kazimiroff Blvd and walk one block to Mosholu Gate entrance.
