Alongside their classic steakhouse dishes, Eddie Merlot's is offering a special Holiday Features dinner menu. The dishes are crafted by Executive Chef Anthony Dee, and include dishes such as: farm-raised elk chop with Dijon mustard served with roasted and fried fennel topped with a mushroom cabernet sauce; tournedos forestière, bacon-wrapped filet medallions topped with a mushroom shallot demi-glace; and crème brûlée french toast with housemade caramel sauce and vanilla crème anglaise. The Holiday Features dinner menu is available through January 5th at all Chicagoland locations.
Eddie Merlot's is also offering lunch service through December 20th. Guests are invited to take a break from the shopping list and conquer their hunger at the restaurant's holiday lunch where an array of Eddie Merlot's signature favorites will be served. Try a variety of starter dishes to sample and share different offerings, such as: deconstructed ahi tuna wontons, diced sashimi style, and served with housemade wonton chips; sharable flatbreads such as the Black and Blue, consisting of blackened steak tips, caramelized onions, and gorgonzola; and a line-up of fresh entrée salads including the Crab Louie with romaine, tomato, egg, and lump crabmeat drizzled with a Louie dressing made from scratch. If you're hungry for a heartier bite, larger appetites can choose from an array of sandwiches and entrees, such as the Peppadew burger topped with a gorgonzola bacon crust, peppers, and onion straws, or the roasted cedar planked salmon dressed in a light barbecue glaze and garlic aioli, with flashed spinach.
During lunch, diners will also have the opportunity to purchase the Eddie Merlot's cookbook, Eddie Merlot's: A Journey through Taste, at a discounted price of $19.95. Regularly priced at $29.95, the cookbook contains over 240 pages of recipes from party-friendly treats to indulgent entrées, and is the perfect gift for the foodies in your life.
