Are you looking for something different, something special, maybe one-of-a-kind to give this year? If unique is what you seek for gifts this holiday season, the Sulzen Fine Art Studio is the place to go this weekend for its annual Bazaar Holiday Show.
There they'll have soaps and sculpture, photographs and paintings, notecards and jewelry; the work of over 20 artists will be on display for your viewing and shopping pleasure.
To make this annual holiday show and sale even more festive, there's an opening reception on Friday, December 5, from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. The bazaar continues Saturday and Sunday, December 6 and 7, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. And, as an added treat, tasty pastries will also be available from an up and coming Logan Square baker, Rose Perez.
Be sure to look for the signs leading you to the show. From the outside, the Sulzen Fine Art Studio looks more like a manufacturing building. That's because the building used to house the Wold Air Brush company, manufacturer of some of the earliest models of the airbrush.
Sulzen Fine Art Studio is the home/studio/gallery of artist Julie Sulzen and her husband, photographer/writer Dan Zamudio. In addition to the annual holiday show, the Sulzen Fine Art Studio has been hosting major exhibitions in April and October since 2001.
Don't forget to also shop the N.A.I.L.S. Holiday Art Sale and Show, just a couple of blocks to the north.
