Holiday recipe: Candy cane and peppermint martinis

It’s the holiday season and time to combine two favorites to bring about extra holiday cheer – candy and alcohol – to create martinis.  First, let me introduce you to Kellerhaus, the Granite State’s oldest candy and ice cream maker.  Located in Weirs Beach and in business since 1906, they make delicious ice cream and lots of fabulous candies – including candy canes!  Be sure to stop by the store and pick up some goodies for the holidays.  If you don’t live near the store, you can order from them online.

Here are two martini recipes all adults are sure to enjoy.    Thanks to my good friend, Mary Hall, The Recessionista™, for bringing these delightful drinks to my attention.

Happy and healthy holidays to everyone!
