There are some bargains to be found today for the holidays on the Beatles box sets. Best Buy and Amazon.com currently have the stereo box set for $169.99. Deep Discount has it for $179.97, while Buy.com has it for $179.99.
Amazon has posted notice on their site they've sold their allocation ofthe Beatles USB drive, but are trying to get more in. Best Buy, however, still shows it available and with free shipping. (A source told us that, unlike with the mono box sets, no more USB drives will become available.)
Be aware that these prices are not likely to last long, though Amazon has had its price on the boxes down for at least a day.

I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a special that Amazon,com ran on Cyber-Monday where they had the Stereo Remasters set priced at $99.99 for one hour only. I believe they sold out of these specially priced box sets within 5-10 minutes, but I was able to grab one for myself before they were all gone! :-)
I ordered the pre-ordered the stereo box set from BestBuy.com. There was no indication from them that there was a problem filling this order. I was alerted to the fact that BestBuy.com had back ordered the box set for some customers without telling them, by an item reported here. When I checked the status of my order, I learned mine had been back ordered. Best Buy would not even give an estimated delivery time. There is no way to cancel an order online. I was put on hold for 10 minutes by customer service. I odered through Amazon. It was cheaper and at least they told me there would be a delay in delivery and they delivered in the estimated time range. Last week Best Buy contacted me to tell me they could now sell me the box set. Best Buy sucks. I will not purchase anything there I can find anywhere else!
Thanks for the heads up; I ordered mine right away (missed on the Cyber Monday deal) and it's a good thing I did, the price has now gone up to $175.49 (Wednesday Dec 2)
