Holiday nights in Greenfield Village is America’s premier holiday celebration

If you’re going to attend one holiday celebration this season, let it be Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village. The Henry Ford offers a variety of exciting events throughout the year, but Holiday Nights is, without a doubt, a visitor’s favorite.

At such an affordable price, tickets are selling quickly. Sold-out nights include December 18 and 23. Event dates include December 16-23 and 26-27. Tickets can be purchased on the event webpage.

Experience a Christmas of the past as you stroll the candle-lit paths of Greenfield Village. Enjoy nonstop musical entertainment from groups such as the Christie Street Carolers, the Main Street Carolers, the Dodworth Saxhorn Band, the Festival Singers, Neil Woodward, Picks & Sticks Stringband, Ranka Mulkern, the Livonia Civic Chorus, the Greenfield Carolers, Simply Dickens and the 1st Michigan Colonial Fife & Drum Corps.

This family-friendly affair, open from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., provides endless fun for everyone. Take the family on a horse-drawn wagon or Model T ride, and then grab a snack at any of the seven food stops. Try your skills on the ice skating rink, and warm up next to a cozy bonfire. Capture the magic and snap a photograph with costumed presenters, which makes for a festive holiday card. Step into any of the six decorative holiday shops, and pick up gifts for everyone on your list. Top off the night with a firework display and Christmas sing-along.

If you’re not already sold on this event, you should also know that Santa is scheduled to appear at the Robert Frost House with real reindeer!
