The latest, greatest device is on the market and would make any gift recipient elated with joy: The new Windows Phone 8.0. With Verizon 4G, this phone's connectivity is super fast, but that's not all. The icons are large enough to be able to read without reading glasses, the screen is the best I've seen as far as reading clarity and the search button on the bottom of its face makes everything so much easier.
As a user of an iPhone, I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't upload the Mapquest app on this Windows Phone 8.0, but there are a plethora of other apps available to try.
With this phone, it's all about "pinning" and once you're past the learning curve, you'll wish the Windows Phone 8.0 had come sooner.
