Holiday favorite: Sausage cheese balls

This appetizer is a holiday party favorite, if you have not tried sausage cheese balls you should! Making this appetizer is remarkably easy and with these cute and tasty sausage balls you can't go wrong. They can even be made ahead of time, and frozen.


1 pound sausage ( use Jimmy Dean)

2 cups baking mix ( use Bisquick)

4 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese


Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine the sausage, cheese, and dry baking mix. Mix together, and shape mixture into golf ball sized balls. Place on a foil-lined cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 to 18 minutes. Serve hot.
