Many gamers received the Nintendo Wii U for Christmas, so to welcome these new users, and to celebrate the ending of 2012, the Nintendo eShop marked down a few great Wii U titles for digital download: Chasing Aurora, Little Inferno, and Trine 2: Director's Cut.
Chasing Aurora is a 2D action game that has players competing in challenges that centralize on flight. The game features sixteen levels, four game modes, five playable characters, and multiplayer for up to five players. Chasing Aurora is currently discounted to $7.49 through January 3rd.
Little Inferno is a puzzler from the creators of World of Goo and Henry Hatsworth where players play with fire in order to solve the various challenges presented to them. Little Inferno is currently marked down to $9.99 through January 4th.
Trine 2: Director's Cut is a beautiful platformer from Frozenbyte about a wizard, a thief, and a knight, who must work together to solve puzzles, defeat goblins, and solve the mystery of a magical artifact called The Trine. Trine 2: Director's Cut is marked down to $15.99 through January 7th.
All of these discounts require an internet connection, as they are all digital downloads. Both Chasing Aurora and Trine 2 are rated E for Everyone, while Little Inferno is rated T for Teen.
