Having received a half-dozen festive entries in the first annual Newark Magic Examiner Holiday Contest, it's time to put them to the vote:
Candelabra of Wishes 4
If a player would draw a card, he or she may put a flame counter on Candelabra of Wishes instead. If that player does, you may choose a card you own from outside the game and put it into that player's hand.
When Candelabra of Wishes has eight or more flame counters on it, exile it.
Drunken Celebratory 1RW
Creature - Human Soldier (Rare)
Whenever Drunken Celebratory attacks, flip a coin. If heads, it attacks defending player. If tails, it attacks you instead.
The bartender told him he had enough, but he was partying too hard to hear him.
A Giving Hand UU
At the beginning of each player's draw step, each player draws seven cards.
All players have no maximum hand size.
Tis the season for giving, so may your hands be full of gifts.
Stuffing Doll 5
Artifact Creature - Construct (Special)
As Stuffing Doll enters the battlefield, choose a food.
Stuffing Doll is indestructible.
1: Stuffing Doll deals 1 damage to target player and you gain 1 life. Activate this ability only if a player has taken a bite of the chosen food this turn and only once each turn.
Alley Gifters 2GG
Creature - Human Scout (Rare)
Whenever Alley Gifters attacks, you may give defending player a rare or mythic rare card you own from outside the game. If you don't, untap Alley Gifters and remove it from combat.
"We were supposed to bring a gift? Uh..."
Invite the In-Laws WB
Target player from outside the game joins the game. For the rest of the game, if that player would draw one or more cards, instead that player draws those cards from any combination of libraries.
The only entities both the Phyrexians and the Eldrazi fear.
Polling ends in seven days. Good luck to all the entrants!
