Based on all the stars the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have lined up for Sunday’s Oscar® night, the show might have to last for hours so best is to have a home party.

If you catch the pre-show, “The Oscars Red Carpet Live,” the hosts are actress Kristin Chenoweth, "Entertainment Weekly" Managing Editor Jess Cagle and "Good Morning America" anchor Lara Spence.
The Academy Awards® host is comedian Seth MacFarlane.
The theme this year is musicals. The producers decided on a tribute acknowledging the recent resurgence of musicals by doing numbers from “Chicago,” “Dreamgirls” and “Les Misérables.”
The show closes with Kristin Chenoweth and Seth MacFarlane in a special musical performance. Other performers are Jennifer Hudson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Samantha Barks, Aaron Tveit and Helena Bonham, Adele, Dame Shirley Bassey, Norah Jones and Barbra Streisand.
"We are pleased to have been able to amass so much talent to create the celebration of musicals of the last decade that we envisioned,” said producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.
Award presenters are: Jack Nicholson, Dustin Hoffman, Jennifer Aniston, Michael Douglas, Jamie Foxx, Paul Rudd, Salma Hayek Pinault, Melissa McCarthy, Liam Neeson, John Travolta, Ben Affleck, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon. They also include: Mark Wahlberg, Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Jean Dujardin, Christopher Plummer, Octavia Spencer and Meryl Streep. Also presenting are Richard Gere, Queen Latifah, Renée Zellweger, Zeta-Jones, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Daniel Radcliffe, Channing Tatum and Charlize Theron.
