Hockey & Heels night with the Dallas Stars Feb 23

The Dallas Stars are hosting "Hockey & Heels" night Thursday, February 23 from 6 to 8 pm at the American Airlines Center.

What is Hockey & Heels?

It's girls' night with the Dallas Stars, well, some of the Dallas Stars. The flyer on the Stars website touts a night with right winger Adam Burish, handsome man that he is, however, Ralph and Razor said Burish was out of the lineup last night against Montreal due to the flu. So, either there will be a replacement, or he is recovered. (The Stars wouldn't share their flu virus, would they?)

Regardless of which handsome Star will attend the ladies, Hockey & Heels will be a night of learning and festivity with Hockey 101 with former NHL defenseman turned announcer Brent Severyn, and a former Dallas Star himself in the 1998-99 Stanley Cup winning season, on-ice demos with (the ex and former, yet still buff) NHL Alumni, and to me the best part--2 plaza tickets to see the Stars vs. Sharks on Thursday, March 8.

This night for the ladies isn't free, but not too expensive at $70. Paid admission also comes with free valet parking, red carpet photos on the ice (of the Stars players I'm sure), wine tasting (which means there's more than just cola), behind the scenes tour of the locker room (which hopefully won't still smell like sweat, but you might be into that), a fashion show (with the Stars showing the fashion? Where's Sean Avery when you need him?), and a complimentary gift (probably a hockey puck).

Want to bone up on hockey before you don those heels? Check out the Hockey 101 page.

Then, put your best foot forward (or not, up to you) and pony up the $70 to have some fun with the Dallas Stars Thursday night.
