HK Disneyland Celebrates the Happiest Chinese New Year

The Year of the Horse is around the corner and Hong Kong Disneyland is about to celebrate the Happiest Chinese New Year. Starting January 23 to February 16, 2014, HK Disneyland’s all seven themed land will be immersed with “Endless Fortune”.

Guests will be showered with Lai See containing large chocolate gold coins while Disney’s all-time favorite characters Mickey, Minnie and Duffy dress up in their Chinese New Year outfits to entertain everyone. Start your journey with a family photo op by the Year of the Horse Photo location at the Sown Square.

Receive various blessings when visiting Lord Henry’s home at Mystic Point. Filled with precious collections of fine art and antiquities, it is believed that by doing so, the home of his Guests will fill up with treasures too. Participate in the annual Hong Kong Chinese New Year’s Night Parade hosted by the Hong Kong Tourism Board. Themed as “The Happiest Chinese New Year Celebration”, the HK Disney’s float will be decorated with pinwheels, symbolizing the new opportunities and Mickey-shaped happy balloons to spread endless luck to Hong Kong.
