Microsoft revealed Monday which Xbox 360 titles will be free to Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers for the month of April 2014 as part of the Games with Gold program. It includes the latest in the Hitman franchise and a side-scrolling zombie survival game.

Hitman: Absolution will be available to download free for Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers starting April 1. The game was originally released in November 2012 and continues the story of Agent 47 as the reformed International Contract Agency sends him out on a mission to take care of his former handler. Absolution received decent review scores with a metacritic average around 80 but Square Enix announced in March 2013 that the game failed to reach sales targets despite selling 3.6 million copies.

Deadlight was released to Xbox LIVE Arcade in August 2012 and comes across as a mixture of mixture of LIMBO, Shadow Complex and The Walking Dead. The game follows a character named Randall Wayne just a few months after zombies, called "Shadows", have pretty much destroyed civilization. Wayne is originally with a group of other survivors and is looking for his wife and daughter in Seattle where they think there is safe refuge. However, nothing is what it seems.
