History of UFOs in Oklahoma

When you think of UFO sightings, you normally think of Arizona, California, Nevada, and some states in the northeastern parts of the nation. However, there have been at least 3 credible sightings right here in Oklahoma that have been photographed and inspected over the years and are determined to be authentic.

One of the best sightings happened in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 2, 1965, and is in many journals as one of the strangest sightings in the nation. This particular UFO had been sighted in many Midwestern states, but the best photograph was caught in Tulsa, and was seen by many witnesses. It was low in altitude, and was seen performing maneuvers that conventional aircraft are unable to accomplish. The picture that was taken shows a multicolored image of a craft and has been analyzed over and over throughout the years and was pronounced authentic. It was even featured in a Life magazine article. There were as many as 4 states that saw this object flying low in the skies.

The second best UFO report began in Edmond, Oklahoma, in 1969. A woman was looking out her window and saw a very unusual object over a neighbor's house, but did not report it. It was 3 or 4 houses long and approximately 2 stories high. It was oval shaped, metallic, and had windows on the top and bottom. Inside, on the bottom, were shiny and metallic and lights were on. The UFO seemed to glow from the inside out and had lights that revolved around the bottom the were orange, green, and blue. Five windows were also on top, but you could not see inside the top. They were slanted back like church windows. It was hovering at antenna level for about 10 minutes and then moved along the railroad tracks going toward Oklahoma City.

The Learning Channel had a report in 1996, about a UFO that was spotted going over Oklahoma City that matched her description, and she knew it had to be the same UFO she had seen in Edmond. It reportedly glided when it moved and never made a sound. On television, they said Air Force jets from Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, Oklahoma, chased the UFO all the way to the Dallas-Ft. Worth area when it picked up speed and shot straight up in the air, above the Earth.

The third UFO incident happened in Yukon, Oklahoma in 1993. It was September 30, around noon, when a man spotted a saucer shaped UFO hovering over some houses when he first noticed it. It then started slowly moving sideways a bit, somewhere between 2,000 and 5,000 feet. It began to make movements that airplanes are unable to make, like it was defying gravity. He rushed in to get his camera, and was able to get a spectacular photo, that has been analyzed and pronounced authentic. After taking the photo, it began to move within seconds at a very high velocity in a north-northeast direction, and after a few seconds it was gone.

Although Oklahoma is not a state that you often think of when the subject of UFOs is mentioned, it has had one of the best UFO photos ever taken of a craft, and the number of sightings in this state has began to increase in the past decade. If you take a look at the sightings that are reported on the M.U.F.O.N. (Mutual UFO Network) website, you will see a number of sightings coming from all parts of the state of Oklahoma. It is an interesting development, so if you are out stargazing, you might look out for unusual objects in the sky. You just may get lucky and find an object that may surprise you. Actually, most of the sightings in this state are taking place in broad daylight, so you never know where you might have an encounter with an unidentified flying object.

If you are lucky enough to have one of these experiences and there is a camera on your phone or anywhere close, try your best to capture several pictures of the object, and immediately report it to the local authorities and on the M.U.F.O.N website. You never know when you may capture something unusual enough that you may find yourself on an episode of UFO Hunters.
If you would like more information about UFOs or are a skeptic, I recommend that you pick up a copy of my new book on Amazon called, “The Truth Behind The UFO Conspiracy” by Belinda Nichols. I have several incidents that cannot be easily explained, and have included quotes by military, intelligence, pilots, Presidents of the United States, and even astronauts that disclose their experiences with UFOs and even alien beings. It is shocking information that will blow your mind. You can also watch hundreds of credible witnesses such as military, pilots, and astronauts recounting their stories to congress during Project Disclosure on the YouTube website. It is long, but extremely interesting. The truth is out there and will be exposed one day. It is best that the people of the world be informed by our governments than to be taken by surprise if the extraterrestrials ever decide it is time to make their presence known to the public. These brave people that have come forward with their information and have signed sworn affidavits have nothing to gain from their testimonies. They are receiving no compensation and are subjecting themselves to ridicule, but they believe that the American people have a right to know the truth, and I for one agree with them.
