Buffalo was just voted the top staycation city in North America by wallethub.com, so if you’re planning on staying in Buffalo this summer, check out the Summer Season Pass, brought to you by the Buffalo History Museum and Preservation Buffalo Niagara.
For just $20, the bearer gets a three-month membership to both organizations, valid from now through August 31st. Pass holders get deeply discounted educational tours and events, including three Party on the Portico events at the BHM, free admission to the BHM, a Niagara River Cruise from PSN and a “Footprints of John R. Oishei” tour; the two groups will host a “Mix Max” mixer at the end of the season for all pass holders as well.
Regular admission to the BHM, located at One Museum Ct. in Buffalo (off Elmwood Ave.), is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors (60+) and students ages 13 to 21 and $2.50 for children ages 7 to 12; admission to the Party on the Portico events is $10 for the general public (21 and over).
If you’re visiting the Buffalo History Museum, don’t forget to visit Delaware Park’s Japanese Garden, which is located to the rear of the Museum.
