Jefferson, Texas is a short jaunt from Dallas and a great place to spend the day or weekend. Whether you come for antiques or ghosts, you can find it there. A number of downtown buildings have stories of haunting. The hotels downtown are filled with history and often a ghost or two. One of the better ways to find out about the ghosts and history is to take a walk on the weekend with Jodi Breckenridge and the Jefferson Ghost Walk.
If Breckenridge isn't walking the streets at night, chances are you'll find her preparing for another History, Haunts & Legends paranormal conference. In fact, there's one this weekend. The line up of speakers is diverse and include; Steven LaChance, Mitchel Whittington, Larry Flaxman, Dr. Rita Louise, Martha Decker, Cathy Nance, Jeromy Jones, Ian and Erin Powell. This is a good time to go on an evening investigation, if you've never had the chance. See some of the equipment used by seasoned investigators, ask questions and maybe take away a person experience. There are four investigations that night, including a ghost walk. You will be able to go to all the locations if you choose to try a hand at investigating. Bring yourself, a jacket, flashlight and a camera.
