Tickets are still available, according to International Motor Racing Research Center (IMRRC) staff, for a bus trip to the Saratoga Automobile Museum on August 2. However, time is running out for registration.

Seats are limited, and interested participants are encouraged to email Kip Zeiter or call the IMRRC at (607) 535-9044 as soon as possible to reserve a seat.

"50 Years of Mustang" is this season's special exhibit at Saratoga, and that day the museum also will be hosting the 9th Annual Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car Show.

According to the Saratoga Museum, its mission is to "preserve, interpret and exhibit automobiles and automotive artifacts. We celebrate the automobile and educate the general public, students and enthusiasts regarding the role of the automobile in New York State and in the wider world. In addition to technical and design aspects, our educational focus is on the past, present and future social and economic impact of the automobile."

In addition to the "50 Years of Mustang" special exhibit, the museum has other ongoing exhibits. For example, there is a special display of photographs depicting actual events from the feature film, RUSH directed by Ron Howard; a history of racing in New York State; "East of Detroit," which highlights New York State's role in automobile manufacturing; and an area dedicated to the New York State Stock Car Association (NYSSCA) Hall of Fame.

The price for the IMRRC bus trip is $70 for Racing Research Center Sponsorship Team supporters and $95 for all others. The price includes admission to the museum. Pickups for the bus will be at various specified locations.

The International Motor Racing Research Center is a non-profit archival library dedicated to the preservation of the history of motor sports, of all series and all venues, through its collections of books, periodicals, films, photographs, fine art and other materials.
