The Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) posted race results on Wednesday, May 21, from the 2014 Spring Vintage Festival at Road America. In addition to enduro races, historic cars from 11 groups competed in events.
According to SVRA, the winner of the SAAC Vintage Race was Curt Vogt of Wallingford, CT driving a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss. Winner of both the Hawk Performance/RA Badger Enduro and the Hawk Performance/Dairyland Classic Enduro was Travis Engen of Weston, CT in his 2005 Audi R8 LMP.
Other results included: Race 2 of Groups 1, 3 & 4 -- Winner, Todd Stuckart of Hartland, WI driving a 1956 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster with Richard Fisher of Evanston, IL and George C. Balbach Lake Forest, IL, coming in second and third.
Group 2 Race 1 results were Travis Engen winning in a 1970 Chevron B17b winner, with Joel Quadracci of Hartland, WI driving a 1969 Brabham BT29 finishing second and Marc Giroux of Cushing, ME driving his 1969 Brabham BT 29 coming in third.
Groups 5 and 7 Race 2 finishers were: Josh Boller of Gumee, IL first in a 1976 Chevron B36; second place went to Ronald Pace driving a 1979 Lola T492/496; and third went to Tim Roberts of Barrington, IL running a 2007 Lola B07/90.
Group 8, Race 2 was won by Kirk Blaha of New Berlin, WI, competing in a 1970 Datsun 240Z. Kurt Fazekas of Fishers, IN racing a 1985 Porche 944 Turbo and Lisa Hansen of Chicago, IL driving a 1969 Porsche 911S, came in second and third, respectively.
Jacek Mucha of Laval, QC, won the Group 9 Race 2 driving a 2006 Swift 16. Second place went to Marc Giroux in his 1997 Lola T97/20; Andrew Voruz of Minneapolis, MN took third in another 1997 Lola T97/20.
Adam Rupp of Appleton, WI took the win in a small field of five in the Group 10 Race 1. He was competing in a 2002 Ford Thunderbird.
Finally, Travis Engen took the win in both races of Group 11 in his 2005 Audi R8, while Jacek Mucha took second in Races 1 and 2 in a 2006 Swift 016.

SVRA's next race weekend will be its much-anticipated Brickyard Invitational to be held at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, June 6-8. That event, featuring three full days of racing action, including a special Pro-Am "Legends" contest of Indy 500 veterans on Sunday, is open to spectators for a nominal charge. The event is expected to feature over 700 historic/vintage race cars spanning 100 years of origin, and both the traditional oval and the road course will be utilized during the weekend.
