Join the Historic Columbia Foundation for a Quilt Workshop in conjunction with the Quilt Exhibit at the Robert Mills House. The workshop will be held on January 26.This event includes a tour of the newly installed Patchworks Quilt Exhibit as well as a workshop featuring instructions on how to make a crazy quilt. The workshop will be held at the Robert Mills House from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The Quilt exhibit will run from January 25-March 17.
Guest can bring their own lunch or order a boxed lunch through us (choice of Chicken Salad, Ham, Turkey or Pimento Cheese) includes drink , chips and cookie. Boxed lunches are an additional $9. Guests can bring their own materials or purchase a quilting kit for an additional $15.
If you choose to bring your own materials for the Crazy Quilt project, please bring 10 coordinating pieces that are less than 10 inch squares. They do NOT have to be blocks but can be “scrap” materials.
Your Crazy Quilt can be completed and used as a coin purse or can be used as the starting point for a larger quilt project.
