Are you coming to the Grand Junction area for one of the many festivals, a mountain biking  trip, a few days of fun in the snow, or just plain need to get out of your house for  awhile?  Within the valley there are various hotels that will fit your needs, there are  numerous hotel chains including Super 8, Marriott, Holiday Inn, and even some unique hotels such as the Historic Melrose Hotel. 

The Historic Melrose Hotel boasts about the Victorian charm that awaits you. It was originally opened in 1908 by James William and Charlotte Ponsford who emigrated from London, England, and is the only hotel left of 12 original hotels that were in downtown Grand Junction.  It has never closed.   The Melrose is a no smoking, no alcohol on premises establishment and strives for a healthy home like feeling.

Hotel amenities include: TV, cable, VCR, free local calls, European baths, as well as private baths.

Room Rates vary on the style of accommodations you choose:

Hostel rooms with a shared bath - $25 a night plus tax

1 bed private room with a shared bath - $45 a night plus tax

1 or 2 bed private room with a private bath - $50 a night plus tax

They also have weekly and monthly rates and need a credit card on file to reserve rooms.
