Sony has teased this trailer all week, and they delivered it today. Hitting the web was the first trailer to The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The sequel to the 2012 film kicks off next summer's lineup and will feature your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man as he faces his greatest challenge to date. The first trailer to the film is one that every Spider-Man fan should see. The preview not only has bigger then life action, but a plot to match. Also in the trailer are few foreshadowing to certain characters. Some might have looked pass the first film, but The Amazing Spider-Man 2 might turn naysayer into believers.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 sees Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) living two lives: a graduating high school student and the web swinging hero Spider-Man. With the city loving his heroism and girlfriend Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) at his side, what could possibly go wrong for? Well things are going to take a drastic turn when a new enemy named Electro (Jamie Foxx) emerges. Peter quickly discovers the tough responsibility his enemies will create, which includes his greatest foe: Oscorp. Along with Garfield, Stone and Foxx, the movie also stars Dane Dehaan, Paul Giamatti, Embeth Davidz, Campbell Scott, Colm Feore, Sally Fields and Chris Cooper (who will be in the film)
