Hippo....our lovely Dianne Feinstein

Senator Dianne Feinstein is at it again. She has just introduced her latest:

S. 419: A bill to limit the use of cluster munitions.

Since the ‘official’ text is not yet available, one is left with HER definition of ‘cluster munitions’. A frightening thought. However, the ‘Unofficial text ‘ is available courtesy of Kurt Hofmann, the St. Louis Gun Rights Examiner.

We now we have a woman, who has absolutely no experience in not only the military, but their munitions as well. And here she is, attempting to put into law, munitions the military may find restricted if passed.

This is the height of conceit. She appears to be running on a ‘high’ because her AWB bill (S. 150) will be debated in committee on Mar 7, 2013. This column will be watching that debate closely. However, with her managing to have her bill debated, she now sees no reason not to enter anything she wishes.

Another one to watch is Rep. Carolyn McCarthy. This will not be lost on her. Look for even more coming down the pike from her.

Returning to S. 419, if passed, (yawn), would be yet another example of the ‘Camel’s nose in the Tent’. Which brings us back to the definition of ‘cluster munitions’. Theoretically, this could also include to those evil looking shotguns. You know, the black ones, with pistol grips, either ‘semi’ or ‘pump’ with that ‘thing’ around the barrel.....you know....it’s the....what is that called now.....?

Interestingly, for now at least, on page two of the unofficial text, shotguns appear to be immune. But make no mistake, the camel is just outside the tent.

A NEW definition.

Dianne Feinstein and the Hippo.
Wind, from either end, stinks the same.
