LOS ANGELES, CA- Miller Genuine Draft and COMPLEX Magazine toured through Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles in an effort to promote their MGD Get Fresh Tour, a three-city concert series. The series paid tribute to the unique style and rhymes of Hip Hop's next generation and featured Sir Michael Rocks (Chicago), Mistah Fab (San Francisco) and Hit Boy (Los Angeles).
Fans and media partners gathered in Los Angeles on Thursday, August 29 for a private concert featuring Hit Boy which was held at The Airliner. Special guests that were attendance were Chip Tha Ripper, Mibs and K. Roosevent.
Hit Boy, also known as Chauncey Hollis, started his career as a mainstream producer when he sent Kanye West muic for what became West and Jay Z's song "In Paris". Hit Boy would have never thought that it would become such a hit that would eventually skyrocket his career. Hit Boy-- Fontana, California native-- is part of a generation that takes risk without fear, and is not afraid of thinking and stepping outside of the box.
In addition to the concert series, COMPLEX Magazine's Music Editor, Ernest Baker, will be hosting an all-access video series featuring artist interviews, performance clips and artist diaries, which will give fans a behind-the-scenes look into the MGD Get Fresh Tour.
