Hip Hop’s Sean Garrett Sued by American Express

Hip Hop producer Sean Garrett may never leave home without his American Express, but apparently he does not pay his bill. According to TMZ American Express has filed a lawsuit against Garrett for not paying his bill.

The lawsuit filed in Fulton County, GA states that the producer, who has worked with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé and Usher, has racked up a bill totaling $108, 084.62. With no payments being made recently he is way over do and over limit. In a sample of the bill filed with the law suit Garrett’s credit limit is $55,000. His bill is nearly twice his credit limit.

Apparently the American Express bill is just a drop in the bucket to what the Hip Hop producer owes in taxes. Georgia filed a tax lien against Garrett earlier this year stating Garrett owes $732,553.57 in back taxes. That figure is just for what he owes for 2006 and 2007.
