Every Tuesday at the General Clinton Pub, Wild Lyle will be hosting a Hip Hop open Mic. The Party starts at 10 PM and goes until 1:00 Am. This is for fans of Hip Hop and good music. This is for people that have something to say and need to get their words off of their chest. Self expression is a big key to making this night successful. Rappers have 100's of instrumentals to choose from if they desire to spit a 16 or a song. Singers are also welcome to come down and perform. Artists are also allowed to bring in their own beats, or live band set up to showcase the skills they possess. A house guitarist is on tap to lay down smooth riffs for rappers to rhyme on as well.
Wild Lyle feels that Hip Hop is not being represented enough in Upstate New York, so this is the first step into bringing the genre into the forefront. While Djing, expect to hear songs from artists like Slaughterhouse, Masta Ace, Big K.R.I.T, and D-sisive. Wild Lyle will also display local talent if they provide the songs. This is for the fans and the arts.
