Every Tuesday at the General Clinton pub, Wild Lyle hosts a hip hop party starting at 9 PM. This weeks special guests is Come Alive Radio's own Matthias James Wahl. This is the place where you can get your full course meal of lyrics and skill. There is an emphasis on the independent scene, and the night stays away from the everyday mundane world of radio hits. During the show, Wild Lyle will be featuring artists such as D-sisive from Canada, Black Milk from Detroit, and the sounds of the Kickdrums to kick off the night. Local artists in the Upstate NY area have a chance to get their music heard as well. It's simple to get your songs played on this night. Artists do not have to pay for play like the rest of the industry. You can request songs the week prior on the facebook Page to get some air play for the next Tuesday. This is a great way to get to hear something that you want.
The second part of the night can feature live musicians and performances from anybody that wants to express themselves. Emcees can grab the mic, and rap over instrumentals or perform with the live acoustic sounds of Matthias. The live renditions will begin around 12 AM and goes until the night closes at 1 AM. On various nights, the drum circle will be in attendance to liven up the night.
