Hinrich sits out practice with elbow injury

Kirk Hinrich sat out Tuesday’s Bulls practice because of a cut he sustained on his right elbow.

The injury occurred in the third quarter of Monday night’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Coach Tom Thibodeau said Hinrich is fine and is day-to-day.

“He’s dinged up on his elbow,” Thibodeau said. “He’s day-to-day. He’s banged up.”

The injury doesn’t sound all too serious, but Hinrich has suffered various ailments already this season, including a strained left elbow.

The Bulls will host the Milwaukee Bucks (16-16) Wednesday night at the United Center.

Nate Robinson would start if Hinrich is unable to play.
