Kirk Hinrich will miss about a week or so after flying back to Chicago on Friday to have his right elbow re-examined and cleaned up, due to an infection that had occurred.
Hinrich missed Friday’s Bulls loss to the Brooklyn Nets and Saturday’s win over the Atlanta Hawks.
"It's probably going to be about a week or so," coach Tom Thibodeau said. "They cleaned it up; he needs a little bit of time for it to heal up. It was just swollen. It was in a tough place because he kept breaking it open. He's on the floor all the time so they just had to go in there and clean it up a little bit."
Carlos Boozer also missed his third straight game with a sore right hamstring and will be a game-time decision for Monday’s make-up game against the Indiana Pacers.
Joakim Noah missed his second straight game and will be day-to-day as he has plantar fasciitis in his right foot.
