Hinder is set to rock the roof off Heaven at The Masquerade on Wednesday, October 9. Get ready for raw riffs, big hooks, and vocal harmonies in the tradition of Guns 'n Roses, Aerosmith, Kiss and AC/DC combined with the modern guitar sounds that set Hinder apart.
Concert-goers can expect Hinder's established hits as well as some surprises from their upcoming album "Welcome to the Freakshow." Freakshow, their fourth full-length album with Republic Records, will release in November and some fans are already salivating in anticipation.
"Hinder is all about the decadence and healthy debauchery that is rock 'n roll," Heather Dean of Atlanta said. "I still listen to their multi-platinum debut album, 'Extreme Behavior,' all the time. They get the craziness of relationships and it comes across. I'm beyond excited to get to see one of my favorite bands - Hinder - at one of my favorite venues - The Masquerade. And, I can't wait to see what 'Welcome to the Freakshow' is all about!"
According to Hinder, we're all freaks in one way or another.
"It's not just you," Hinder drummer Cody Hanson promises fans. "There's something strange about everyone's life or situation. If you think about it, it's universally relative. The freaks make the world more interesting."
Along with Cody, Hinder is comprised of Austin Winkler on vocals, Joe "Blower" Garvey on guitar, Mark King on guitar, and Mike Rodden on bass. They've have been together for nearly a decade.
"There aren't too many bands that can stick together in the same line-up for an entire career," Cody said. "We get along so well because we're just five dudes from Oklahoma who like having a good time, laughing, and making music."
Hinder's upcoming show at The Masquerade starts at 7 PM. Advance tickets are priced at $22.50 and can be purchased by calling 404-577-8178. The Masquerade is located at 695 North Avenue NE in Atlanta, Georgia. For more information visit www.masqueradeatlanta.com.
