Travelers who long for freshly brewed quality coffee while on the go can now enjoy gourmet coffee on the go. Hilton Garden Inn (HGI) partnered with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (GMCR) to upgrade their in-room coffee service. Guests in their more than 73,000 guest rooms in the U.S. and Canada now have the option to brew their favorite coffee using a Keurig® K130 single cup brewing system.
Upon checking in to one's room, each guest will find their room has been supplied with four complimentary Keurig® K-Cup® packs consisting of two packs of regular coffee, one pack of decaf coffee and one pack of Bigelow® Black tea. The brands of coffee offered will vary according to the locations: Diedrichs® coffee in the US, Van Houtte® coffee in Quebec and and Timothy’s® Rainforest Alliance Extra Bold Coffee for the rest of Canada.
Those looking for additional coffee options can purchase specialty beverages at HGI’s 24-hour Pavilion Pantry, which will feature eight Keurig Brewed® K-Cup® pack varieties, including Starbucks®, Green Mountain Coffee® and Café Escapes® hot cocoa. Also, guests can purchase a selection of microwaveable food items that can be heated in their in-room microwave, as well as a selection of other beverages, snacks and sundries.
This upgraded coffee service builds upon the other services offered by Hilton Garden Inns in their quest to fulfill a niche as an upscale mid-priced brand targeted to value conscious business and leisure travelers. Other amenities available include a complimentary 24-hour business center, swimming pool (indoor or outdoor, depending on local climate), whirlpool spa, work out facility, on-site laundry facility, and high-speed Internet access built into all guest-rooms.
