Hilltown accident: A horrific vehicle crash involving a Scion tC, a pickup truck and an Allied Waste truck has resulted in the death of an unidentified man, according to an Oct. 1 Patch report. The driver of the Scion tC was pronounced dead at the scene following the accident in Hilltown, Penn.
According to the report, the man's black Scion tC collided with a pickup truck and then slammed into an Allied Waste trash truck.
"Hilltown Township Police said a Mazda pickup truck was southbound on Bethlehem Pike, with the Scion behind it. As the pickup attempted a right turn into a driveway, it was hit from behind by the Scion, police said. The Scion then veered across the center left turn lane and into the northbound lane of Bethlehem Pike, where it hit the Mack trash truck, the report said."
Paramedics were able to remove the victim from the badly damaged Scion and proceeded to resuscitate the injured man. However, their attempts to revive the man failed and a pink sheet was placed over the body in order to shield the gruesome scene from onlookers.
The drivers of the other vehicles involved in the Hilltown accident suffered only minor injuries and they are expected to make a full recovery, police said.
Police are still investigating the details surrounding the Hilltown accident.
