Hillsdale College men's basketball wins GLIAC playoff opener against LSSU (slideshow)

A 15-year drought ended Tuesday night in Hillsdale College's Jesse Phillips Arena. The host Chargers came away with a 78-68 victory over Lake Superior State University to advance to the next round of the GLIAC postseason tournament.

The next round will take the Chargers to Findlay, where they will square off against Grand Valley State Univeristy Friday at 8 p.m.

The Chargers were led in scoring by Luke Laser with 19 points and Tyler Gerber with 14.
